Take a customized tour through The Four Decisions with Dan Shephard as your guide and coach. The emphasis for your personal coaching experience is on applying the concepts of The Four Decisions to YOUR organization, to YOUR future donors.
A two-day seminar doesn’t allow for time to absorb concepts, nor to try them out. Your coaching is scheduled over a period of several weeks, to allow you time to field-test concepts and to make them your own.
Referring to the basic coaching plan, we work with you to design your coaching program and schedule to fit your specific needs.
Affordable and Effective — coaching is typically done virtually, using such tools as the telephone and virtual meeting software.

“As a relatively new development professional, I found this program extremely helpful. The Four Decisions Tutorial helped me become intentional and donor-centric in a way that helped me turn a $10,000 annual donor into a $500,000 major donor within months of having completed the course. I am confident I will continue to practice the principles I learned and will become a much better fundraising professional thanks to the coaching I received.” Mercy Bradley, Sr. Director of Development, College of Medicine, Florida International University
"This is the most helpful professional development I’ve participated in during my 10 years in nonprofit fundraising. Dan tailored the program to address my specific needs and worked with my schedule in completing the course. The one-on-one coaching sessions gave me the opportunity to ask my questions and to practice donor scenarios in a way that directly benefited my work." Rachael Estep, Assistant Director of Development for Leadership Gifts, College of Architecture and Urban Studies, Virginia Tech
“Dan’s personalized training was a turning point in my career. Following his classes I became more effective setting meetings with potential major donors, more comfortable during my conversations with them, more successful in understanding their priorities and earning their support. Dan was always able to offer me advice grounded in his own experience, which I greatly appreciated.” Casey M. Smagala , Director of Development & Community Engagement , Albany Park Community Center
